Who makes our list of the top five rightfielders in MLB?

The 2020 Major League Baseball season is right around the corner. The league has its opening day scheduled for July 23rd, Thursday, and will be the first of the four major US leagues to return since the month of March. Despite some well-known names opting out of the campaign, baseball’s stars will be on display almost as much as during any other season. At least for the time being.

Third base is where the deepest levels of talent in the majors reside, with two recent MVPs, multiple long-term deals, and former top five picks. In collating a top five at the position, I have had to leave out some of the most talented players in the league, including Josh Donaldson, Manny Machado, Kris Bryant and 49 homer Eugenio Suarez.

Three dark horses to win the 2020 World Series

In the eyes of many MLB fans, and even experts, this year’s World Series winner will not be the undisputed champion that it usually is. The shortened 2020 campaign – starting on July 23rd – will feature just 60 games per team, which is nearly a third of the normal 162 games. There’s always been a reason why baseball teams play such an unprecedented number of games. A smaller number of games would resemble an outcome too situational to determine a rightful champion.
