The Philadelphia Eagles have been searching around for a new offensive coordinator after scoring a mere nine points in their wild card game against the Seattle Seahawks on January 4. Notably, former NFL star wide receiver and 14-year Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Hines Ward is interested in helping out on that side of the ball.
According to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Cleveland Browns are going to interview Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz for their head coaching vacancy, following the sacking of Freddie Kitchens.
The Seattle Seahawks began the season with an impressive 10-2 record, but lost the rhythm, losing three of their last four games, including losses to both the Rams and Cardinals. There’s no doubt that the momentum is on the Eagles’ side for this one, and with home advantage, where their defence has been notably better this season.
