5th pick: Jaren Jackson Jr.
Jaren Jackson has dropped from four to five here, but that’s not a reflection of a disappointing start to his NBA career, it shows just how much talent there was in 2018.
He has been, to use a clichéd metaphor, the Robin to Ja Morant’s Batman. Jackson has proven himself as a floor spacer, and already showcased a versatile offensive game.
Jackson is one of the higher floor players in this class. He’s already an above-average four, and will likely get more minutes at the five in the future if he can improve on the boards.
