3rd pick: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
This is where it started to get trickier. DeAndre Ayton and Marvin Bagley have slipped down the draft already, and the biggest beneficiary is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has shown glimpses of star potential in his rookie year with the Clippers and second season with the Thunder.
Working alongside Chris Paul, SGA and the Thunder have been a great story this season. He’s built on his strong rookie year, and he’s recording just under 20 points per game.
A strong three-point shooter, with the long limbs to be a handy rebounder and defensive menace, Gilgeous-Alexander is Oklahoma City’s future.
